Scope of Service:

ADHD active involves comprehensive assessment and diagnosis, personalised treatment plans, medication management if required and offers ADHD coaching. The specific scope may vary based on the individual.

Payment and Fees:

Kindly be aware that ADHD Active operates as a private consultancy and is not covered by the NHS. Our policy entails receiving payment in advance for self-funding patients. For follow up appointments, payments will need to be received in full before this can take place.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event of a confirmed appointment being cancelled between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled time (notice during working days only, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays), we will retain 25% of the fee paid, or the patient will be responsible for 25% of the fee if not already paid. If the cancellation occurs within 24 working hours of the confirmed time or if an appointment is missed, 50% of the fee will be retained, or the patient will be liable for 50% of the fee if not already paid.

Out-of-Hours Service:

ADHD Active does not offer an out-of-hours or emergency service. For urgent medical advice outside regular hours, please utilise your local NHS service, such as your GP or A&E if appropriate.

Records and Privacy:

Committed to GDPR compliance, our online service emphasises transparent data practices, explicit user consent, and minimal data collection. Rigorous security measures and access controls safeguard against unauthorised access, while privacy by design principles guide our system. User rights are prioritised, and regular audits ensure ongoing compliance. Continuous monitoring ensures alignment with evolving GDPR regulations. No hard copy of data will be retained. Patient consent will be sought for obtaining personal medical records such as the Summary Care Record.

Responsibilities of the Parties:

Effective communication and collaboration between the service provider and the patient are essential for successful treatment. ADHD Active is responsible for involving patients in decision-making, providing progress updates, and addressing inquiries promptly. Patients are expected to share information openly, actively participate in treatment, and adhere to prescribed plans. This collaborative approach fosters a therapeutic relationship, enhances treatment outcomes, and contributes to the overall well-being of the patient.
