Who We Are

ADHD Active Ltd is a UK-based company registered in England and Wales under company number 16483113 and registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. ADHD Active provides ADHD assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services in line with recognised UK clinical guidelines.

Our Commitment to Privacy

We are committed to protecting your personal data and handling it lawfully, fairly, and transparently in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Personal Data We Collect

You may provide previous medical records or clinical reports for review by your clinician. You may also be required to undertake medical investigations, complete questionnaires, or psychometric assessments relevant to the service requested. Any information shared will be limited to those who need access for your care.

How We Use Your Data

We use personal data to:

  • Provide ADHD assessments, diagnoses, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Communicate with you about appointments and services
  • Meet legal, regulatory, and clinical obligations
  • Maintain accurate medical records

Legal Basis for Processing Your Data

In line with the NHS Records Management Code of Practice, adult health records should be retained for a minimum of eight years following the conclusion of treatment or the individual’s last contact with the service. For children and young people, health records should be kept until the patient’s 25th birthday, or 26th birthday if the individual was 17 years old at the end of treatment. These time frames represent minimum retention periods, and records may be held for longer where there is an ongoing clinical need, safeguarding concerns, or potential legal requirements.

We will retain identifiable personal data only for as long as necessary to meet its intended purpose and our legal, regulatory, and clinical obligations, in line with UK GDPR and the NHS Records Management Code of Practice, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymised.

Sharing Your Information

We will only share your personal data with third parties when it is absolutely necessary.
If your care continues outside ADHD Active, for example, through a shared care arrangement or with a different prescribing provider, we may share your contact details, medical records, test results, and relevant mental health information with the clinicians taking over your care.

Other circumstances where data may be shared:

  • With pharmacies, where required to support your treatment.
  • With trusted third-party service providers for essential services, such as IT or payment processing.
  • With regulatory or legal authorities, when legally required.

Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including SSL encryption and secure storage systems.

Data Retention

Clinical records are retained in accordance with UK healthcare record-keeping requirements. Non-clinical data is retained only as long as necessary.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request erasure where legally permitted
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Withdraw consent

Requests can be made to enquiries@adhdactive.co.uk.
