National Medication Shortage: View National Patient Safety Alert
At ADHD Active, we offer computerised testing as an additional service. This resource allows us to establish a baseline of symptom results before initiating medication, therapy, or lifestyle modifications. This is also available to reassess progress after 6-12 months of treatment. Choosing to undergo testing can potentially offer several benefits, including:
• Providing objective data regarding symptom management
• Enhancing comprehension of treatment efficacy
However, it’s important to note some limitations of testing, such as:
• Its inability to establish a diagnosis on its own
• Limited capability in ruling out other conditions beyond ADHD
• Providing only partial insights into psychological aspects
Both computerised tests are designed to offer objective data for identifying ADHD symptoms. At our clinic, we utilise the Qb Check as it can be seamlessly conducted during video consultations. All you need for the test is a compatible laptop (Macbook or PC laptop) with a webcam and a mid-range or higher processor. We do not offer the version of the test that requires a dedicated standalone helmet or sensors. A sample report can be viewed here; Qb Check Sample Report
The fee for a Qb check testing is £250 per test. This also involves a 30 minute consultation with one of our clinicians over a video call. Please contact enquiries to book this appointment.
